We had a great time!!!! Maddie loved having her Gramma and cousin Syd Syd with us on our trip. The hotel upgraded us to a 3 bedroom condo so...what can I say, it was awesome.
Maddie seemed to enjoy the ocean for short amounts of time but didnt care too much for the sand. She allowed it to be on her feet but she didnt care to play with it. She loves the pool though. We spent a couple of days swimming in the different pools and playing in the water spouts too. We got our picture taken with a baby tiger cub as well as a baby monkey. You've gotta see those! We did some shopping, eating out, and lots of other beach stuff.
Overall, we really enjoyed ourselves and wish we could have stayed but...!
More later...
Maddie now has "11" teeth. Now, thats 6 on top and 5 on the bottom. We would suspect the "12th" any day now!!
Maddie has done quite a bit of walking this weekend. Only a few steps at a time but much more often than she had just last week. We continue to encourage her walking and hope to see her wobbling around very soon.
Well, we go to the beach next saturday for a few days and we are very much looking forward to it. I'll post again later.
Until then...
So, for those of you that do not know, I started a new job on the 1st of the month. I am now a Cutomer Service Representative for the same company Jay works for. It has been slow for me so far because I havent had my training yet. So, you can imagine what I do all day...nothing really. That will soon change because my training and work load starts monday!!!
Maddie is doing wonderful. She is however, proving to have gotten the "terrible twos" quite early!!! She throws fits and screams but then smiles and laughs. She is either in a super great mood, or a super not so great mood. Overall, I still think that Jay and I have been so fortunate in so many ways. Maddie is just great and we love her unconditionally, of course!
Two more weeks and we will be off to the beach!!! Jay and I have been looking forward to this for quite some time. We also will be visiting some friends in Georgia on the labor day weekend. Maddie will be having a sleep over with Gramma for that!
