So...Maddie did amazingly well in the car on the way to Maryland. She slept alot so, that helped! We had a great time while we were there. We stayed with Jays Aunt Lori and Uncle Jim but Jays mom, stepdad, and Aunt Claudia were there also. Everyone was very happy to see Maddie and all the things she can do, that is until the morning. She was an early riser with a strong vioce...haha!!
Maddie had her first boat ride which ended up not lasting very long because she did not like it once mommy got into the water. Her Granna took care of her so her mommy and daddy could enjoy the boat. She ate dinner at a local seafood place, and got aquainted with 3 dobermans and a german shepard pup. They werent sure what to make of her.
Over all, we had a great time and hated to go but, work was calling as well as jury duty which ended up being cancelled....thanks government!! The trip back was not so great. Maddie was cranky and wanted out of her seat!!! We made it though and we now look forward to the next time we can see our family again!!

So, CONGRATULATIONS Maddie on getting her 9th tooth. The cool thing is that it is her first "back" tooth. Jay and I just noticed it yesterday but it has come through completely so it must have happened some time ago. Bet that one hurt!?!
We will be off to Maryland to visit hte fam' bright and early tomorrow morning. I just could never imagine how much stuff you have to pack when you have a child. Even small beach trips seem to take over the back of my small SUV. We are excited though and a bit curious to see how Maddie does for the ride. We went to Kentucky in November but she was only 5 months then so she slept alot. She's pushing 13 months now, so she might just be a bot of a terror!!! No, No, never our Madison!!!

1. saying "g" syllables
2. throwing tantrums
3. getting closer and closer to NO more bottles
4. picking her nose (not eating it though!!)
5. riding a push car (pushes with her feet...work in progress)
6. hates having her diaper changed and pajama's put on!
7. loves to dance, dance, dance
8. loves The Wiggles on TV
9. NO more baby food
10. plays chase with mama and dada around the house...just LOVES it!
