Maddie officially turned 11 months old yesterday making her now on her way to being ONE YEAR OLD!!!! We are planning the party already!
So, my first Mothers day was great! Maddie and her daddy made me an appointment for a facial and a massage. They also gave me a dozen roses, a crossword book(love them), and 2 beautiful cards. What a day! Jay has already warned me that the first year is special but not to expect too much on the years that follow. He didnt use those words exactly! The new news is that Maddie got her 4th tooth on Mothers Day! That was gift all on its own. Go Maddie!
Maddie continues to amaze us. She makes kissy faces at us now and wants to actually "kiss" us all the time. She talks, talks, talks! She crawls everywhere. We installed our first cabinet door latches a couple of days ago!!! Maddie is now drinking only 3 bottles a day but has 3 meals and a couple of small snacks as well. She is doing fantastic!
Jay has started building a play structure for Maddie and her friends and family. So far we have the swing part but it will soon have a picnic loft thing, a slide, and a sandbox. Go Jay!! Maddie absolutely loves to swing!
Well, our summer is looking pretty busy so far but we intend on having some fun. Hope you all do as well!!!!

Maddie is now the proud owner of 3 cute little teeth. One of her top teeth have finally broken through!!!
Maddie is thriving these days. She is really growing up so fast and learning so much. Her most favorite game continues to be "peek-a-boo" with whoever will play with her. She talks, talks , talks now...her own words of course. She does now say "mama' , "dada", "rara", "lala", etc. It feels so good when she calls out for "mama".
She is a superstar eater trying lots of new things. Thanks to Smyrna, she now loves cheese!!! We are considering trasitioning to whole milk in the next month or so, just not quite sure yet!
Maddie has always been such a wonderful baby and I think many would agree. She has her fussy moments like anyone would but, we feel so blessed to have her reagardless of her tantrums.
Maddie met her new friend Aiden last weekend. He is the newborn son of our neighbors Matt and Kim. Our other neighbors Matt and Nobuko are due with a boy on Maddie's 1st birthday, June 21st! So, needless to say the cul-de-sac will be fun fun fun!!!
Mothers Day is coming up soon and this will technically be my first. I think I might just cry! Maddie has been working on her gifts for her Granna, Gramma, Gammie, and Bop! Not sure what she has in store for me!!!!
