Well, Maddie is now just over 7 months old and is constantly changing. She scoots in circles now along with backwards. We cant wait to see her actually crawl or scoot forwards. She ate spaghetti with beef sauce tonight ( baby food ) and she loved it. She loves alot of things though. Her eczema is back along the under side of her neck and especially on her calves. We are treating it though and expect it to go away like it has before.
Jay and I have been busy getting our house ready to put up for sell. The realtor came by saturday to give us some pointers on things that would help. It wasnt much really. Im so...just completely overwhelmed with all this right now. It would be much better if we had a definate decision made about the land we would like to buy. The owner and realtor are working out some easment issues and its just taking time. We dont want the land though if the easment cant be changed. Thats why we cant really do much right now as far as signing a contract to build. Wow.....too much to think about!!
Well, we will keep you all in our thoughts. Hope you all do the same for us! Take care.....more later!!!
Let see..what is new with us? Well, Maddie is doing very well. She officially scoots now but, she scoots backwards. It s so cute. I tell her to "come here" and she ends up further away from me. I am now making Maddies food instead of buying all of it. Some things are easier to squish up than others so she still gets store bought also. We tried giving her "turkey in turkey gravy' baby food the other night. Jay and I tasted it to see what it was like and I literally thought I was going to vomit. Jay refused to make Maddie eat that crap so, I think we are going to hold off on the meat stuff until she can have table food!
I am now wearing a wrist brace. I had an xray buut didnt end up with any fractures so, I just have to wear this thing for a couple of weeks to make my wrist strong again. I hurt it over a month ago at work and just figured it would get better eventually!
Jay and I are looking for land to buy and have a home built on. We have found a 10 acre lot that looks perfect and is very nicely priced but, we havent walked it yet to determine if we want to make an offer. Hopefully it is as great as the pictures! This process is very scary for me because I dont completely understand everything. Apparently its very different than just buying a new home. We will keep you update on our progress.
Well, Maddie will soon be 7 months old. Time has flown so quickly, Im amazed! She has changed so much but we are so looking forward to all the changes that are to come!
More later......
Okay , well 2006 gave us many wonderful blessings. The most important, ofcourse, our daughter Madison Kathryn Almers. We thanks God everyday for allowing us to have such a healthy and beautiful baby girl.
We have watched her grow up so much in her first 6 months. She now sits up without assistance and can roll from side to side. She has learned how great real food tastes. Her favorites are pretty much any fruit but she LOVED feeding herself re-fried beans at a local restaurant just the other day. That was a first for her! She went from screaming during her first bath, to absolutley loving it and staying in the bath as long as possible. She has her 2 bottom teeth and bites our fingers quite often. She laughs big girl laughs at her daddy when he says "boo" or tickles her tummy and neck. She smiles ALL the time. She stretches out her arms for her Mommy to hold her and rubs her eyes when she is sleepy. She LOVES her family and even her dog! She amazes us each and every day and we feel so incredibly blessed and fortunate to have her in our lives. We cant believe how she has grown and changed. We look forward to 2007 and the years beyond. We know, that as a family, we will be happy, sucessful, and blessed!!
May you all have a wonderful new year!!!!
