Well, Maddie and I just got back from a 3 day trip to Myrtle Beach with my mom and neice, Sydney. I took lots of pictures and will have Jay post as soon as he gets a chance. She did very well the whole time. We visited the aqaurium so she got to see several different fish as well as sharks and rays! It was really cool. We were glad to pay the $20 to get in!!! I was a little worried about taking Maddie in the swimming pool for the first time because I figured she would freak it. Turns out it was quite the opposite. Lucky for us the indoor pool was heated so she just smiled and laughed the whole time...pictures of that too! We walked around Broadway at the Beach and had dinner at Cheeseburger in Paradise. The weather was beautiful but we werent brave(or stupid) enough to get in the ocean...some were!
Anyway, we are happily back at home. We both missed Jay very much and are excited about sleeping in our own beds tonight!

So...Maddie's 2nd tooth has broken through the gum. It poked through saturday the 23rd!! Go Maddie!!!
We want to sent wishes of a wonderful christmas to everyone and a blessed new year as well. We are very excited about Maddies first xmas and will be sure to explain the true meaning of the holiday as she gets older. May we all not forget the reason for this holiday! Bless everyone!!!
Okay, Happy half Birthday to Maddie. She had her 6 month check up today. She is now 18pds and 13oz and is 26 3/4 inches tall. She has a clean bill of health and is doing fantastic. Her 2nd tooth is showing but has not broken through. Any day now though! Jay and I are going to let her try drinking from a sippy cup this weekend. That should be funny!
...Maddie's first tooth!!!!! Maddie'e first tooth broke through friday the 15th on the bottom. That totally explains why she was soooo cranky the night before, and of course she didnt sleep well the night it came through either. She is doing very well though. She wore a bow in her hair for the first time today and went to her first church function tonight. She is always the hit of the party no matter where we go!
On thursday the 21st Maddie will turn 6 months old! We just cant believe it but are so excited for her. She also has her next checkup that day where she will be getting more shots. Any guesses on how much she will weigh?? I say 18.6 pounds.
Anyway, we are excitedly getting ready for Maddie's first christmas and are looking forward to santa leaving presents for her. I think we will even make cookies for santa! Yum!!

Well, I took Maddie to the doctor a couple weeks ago because her rash just didnt seem to be getting better. Turns out its just baby exzema, which I knew already! So, we will continue to cream her up when necessary and she will be just fine. She weighs a healthy 18.2 pounds. She is doing fantastic. She is really trying to say things these days. She stretches out her voice it seems like. Its adorable and sounds really funny. She still sleeps through the night although lately she has been wanting to go to bed even earlier, around 7-7:30. We happily let her do so!
Lets see...Xmas is rapidly approaching and we are getting ready for Maddie's first! We are trying not to go overboard with the gifts because we know everyone else is. Apparently everytime my mom goes into a store she leaves it with another present for Maddie. She swears she isnt going anywhere near a mall again until after xmas. We'll see! We tried to get pictures of Maddie out in our xmas cards this year but had a bit of a time complication so, if youd like pictures you can get them from our site or just shoot us an email and we will see what we can do.
