Well, maddie had her first taste of apple juice last wednesday night and she loved it. Her reaction to the first gulp was very funny. She just stopped for a second and then decided it was good enough for her, I guess. She now weighs 15.5 pounds!!! She continues to coo and laugh with us but is trying to be held ALL day!! It is very hard to break her of that because she is so darn cute. Her sleeping habits have been slowing changing over the last few nights. She used to sleep a good 8 hours before waking up but has switched to a 5-6 hour wake up. Its still just fine because she nurses and goes right back to sleep..no problem!
I got a much needed massage yesterday. Jay got me a gift card for it for my birthday. If you havent tried it. you should. I go every 6 months or so but would love to do it more. Jay is finishing the shed today. He thought it would have gotten done last weekend but he ran into some issues.

Well...Maddie is still doing very well. She will be 3 months old on thursday. The time has gone by so quickly. She is cooing alot more these days as well as laughing and smiling all the time. She continues to sleep wonderfully and enjoys her bathtime alot!! The next thing we are trying to achieve with Maddie is to have her actually take a nap in her crib. Im not sure if she is still too young to have a nap TIME or not. Right now she just sleeps wherever she closes her eyes. Most of the time she naps in her swing. We just had to take her swing back yesterday because it had decided to do whatever it wanted to do. We exchanged it for one just the same and ....it is acting up too!!! Oh well!
Jay and I are getting very excited about the weather change and fall coming. We are starting to do house projects again. Jay is finishing his shed that he built today and is buying a new front door as well. As for me and Maddie, we will be grocery shopping. Oh..what fun!

We are pretty sure Maddie is starting to teeth!!! She is drooling quite a bit and we are being told that is a sign!!! Also, Maddie had her first shower with mommy yesterday. She loved it!
Well, I had my 26th birthday yesterday. Jay couldnt wait to give me my gift so he gave it to me on saturday.... a great digital camera and a certificate for a massage! Me and him are the same when it comes to that stuff...one year we opened each others xmas gifts a whole week early!! Anyway, we celebrated my b-day with dinner at Chilis with family and friends. Maddie was the life of the party. I got some great gifts and I thank everyone that came and everyone who sent their good wishes!
Well, Im at home right now instead of driving to work because I didnt realize that my keys were in Maddies diaper bag and that bag is on its way to Gammies house. Jay isnt answering his cell phone which means he is going to have to come ALL the back home so I can go to work. It sucks...totally my mistake!! Okay, Jay just called me back...he doesnt seem upset so, thats good!!!
