Nursery Status

I know I have been a bit slack in posting, I have been extremely busy lately preparing for Maddie's arival. I have gotten the walls painted and chair moulding up. We are replacing the carpet in all of the bedrooms within the next couple of weeks. Once that is done, all furniture (which has been purchased) can be assembled and put in place. I will try to take some pictures of how the room currently looks so I can put them in the gallery. Missy has taken some pictures of me actually doing some work...yes I said it, work.

Well, I had my first physical therapy session last friday. Apparently Im having some rotation problems with my hips. I could have told you that myself. It was a great session though and I left feeling very sore and slept horrible that night. I go back for more every week for the next 3 weeks. Im looking forward to maybe relieving some of the pressure and pain Im experiencing in my lower back and hips. Here's to hoping!!!!

Jay and I are so excited... we got the news this past weekend that his mom is coming for a visit the weekend of our baby shower. We havent seen her since a visit to Maryland when I was only 8 weeks pregnant so she hasnt seen my growing belly up close and personal!!! We plan on having a great time while she is here.

Okay, we will keep you all posted. Take care and stay in touch!!!!

Getting Closer!!!

Well, I am now officially 25 weeks pregnant and there isnt a day that goes by that I am able to forget it. My back and hip pain is sometimes unbearable but I have gotten used to it by now. Im seeing a physical therapist next week to see what else I can do. I have exhausted my resources, I believe!

To be completely honest, even through all the pain Im currently having, Im so proud to be caring a child. I am so thrilled and so overjoyed that it makes it ALL worth it.

Jay started the nursery last weekend. We are going with a 2 tone purple look with bright white molding on the walls. So far so good but still not done. Hopefully soon, for my sake!! After repeatedly being told to do so, we have registered for our baby shower. That was overwhelming on its own.

Overall, Jay and I are doing very well and get more excited everyday. Nugget a.k.a. Madison Kathryn Almers is doing very well also and continues to show her love for her parents by kicking and punching me as often as she can. Its a good thing though so, bring it on baby!!!!!

Well, we willl keep you updated as we can. There is not always something interesting to share but continue to think of us as we will continue to think of you all!!!!
